Richard Bond guilty of the murder of John Richards.  Condemned at the Lent Assizes - execution respited to Saturday, 15 April.  A letter from the Secretary of State issued on 6 April states “let him be executed”.  Bond escaped from gaol on the eve of his execution day but was recaptured later and hanged on his original sentence.  Buried St Sidwell on 5th August.
